The Anna Stæhr Quartet performs a jazz vocals concert at Charlie Scott's in Copenhagen on January 15. The evening is built around live jazz, with the quartet's vocals at the centre of the programme, and the setting makes it an intimate one.
What to expect
This is a concert rather than a lecture or a screening: the music is played live in the room, and the audience is close to the performers. For anyone who enjoys jazz singing, it is an evening to sit back and listen, letting the voice and the quartet's playing carry the night.
- Performers: the Anna Stæhr Quartet, with jazz vocals
- Date: January 15
- Venue: Charlie Scott's, Copenhagen
- Format: a live, intimate jazz performance
Planning the visit
Charlie Scott's is in Copenhagen, the Danish capital, so the concert suits a night out in the city, whether you are staying for a short break or living nearby. Because the room is small and the performance is intimate, it is worth checking the venue's listings page for details on tickets and timing before you go. You can find the event and the venue's live jazz programme at charliescotts.dk/live-jazz.
If you are visiting Copenhagen in mid-January, an evening of live jazz at a small venue is a good way to spend a winter night, and the concert can form the centre of an evening out in the city.
