Two of Denmark's most influential culinary figures โ Bo Bech and Claus Meyer โ come together at DR Koncerthuset for a candid evening conversation exploring what drives them, how they differ, and what gastronomy has meant to each of them over the course of remarkable careers.
Bo Bech has spent three decades championing the idea that culinary craft and personal conviction are inseparable. From his landmark restaurant at Paustian to Geist and most recently Bobe, he has shaped Danish fine dining through technical precision and a distinctive aesthetic sensibility.
Claus Meyer was a key architect of the manifesto that launched New Nordic cuisine onto the world stage. He has since taken the transformative power of food far beyond the restaurant: into a Copenhagen prison and into some of Bolivia's most deprived communities.
The evening's first part features a structured dialogue exploring shared ambitions and diverging paths โ where does craft end and conviction begin, and what does it cost to feel that you have never done quite enough? The second part opens the floor to audience questions submitted anonymously, turning the evening into an unpredictable exchange.
The talk is moderated by food journalist Sara Brink Larsen and takes place in Studie 2 at DR Koncerthuset.
