Three For Silver, an American doom-folk group, comes back to Loppen in Copenhagen on Saturday 20 March 2027. Doors and the show are listed for 21:00.
The group is a rough-edged, uncompromising ensemble of rotating musicians led by Lucas Warford. Baby Gramps has described the band as the "acid child of Tom Waits and Les Claypool". Labels such as "Mythic Americana", Doomfolk or Apocalypso get thrown around, but the band resists easy categorisation.
They are known for unusual, often homemade instruments and for mixing playing styles in unexpected ways. Since 2013 they have played everything from accordion festivals in Vienna and contemporary music fairs in Russia to cultural exchange tours supported by the US State Department.
They last played Loppen the previous year, supporting their seventh album "Oh! For a Muse of Fire", and now return to the same stage.
