The Blind Date returns to Aveny-T after its audience success in the 2024/25 season. The run opens Friday 8 January 2027 at 17:00 and closes Thursday 4 February 2027 at 20:00 on the Foyerscenen / bar stage.
The show is an improvised comedy about the chemistry between two people. Audiences act as first-hand witnesses to one person's attempt to find love โ someone who doesn't know who they've been matched with. Actor Mathias Bรธgelund likewise meets his scene partner for the very first time as the performance begins.
A different actor plays the blind date each evening. The main character, the date and the bartender receive only minimal instructions in advance; the rest unfolds spontaneously in the moment.
No two evenings are ever the same โ flirtation, friendship or spectacular disaster could all be on the cards.
