In 2012, the artists of Collectif Zoukak lost a colleague, Ziad โ a committed artist who drowned. This piece rewinds through wars, false hopes, places, tears and laughter. Working with original sound and video design in which water seems to blur reality, the performers weave together intimate and collective memories of Beirut and its vanished neighbourhoods.
