Paris Paloma is a British singer-songwriter whose biggest hit, 'Labour', has amassed nearly 400 million streams on Spotify. Behind its pop surface lies a pointed critique of patriarchy, mental load and unpaid domestic labour โ emblematic of her approach to writing pop songs with genuine bite.
Raised on her mother's soul and jazz records and later influenced by Florence + The Machine, Ed Sheeran, Grimes and Aurora, she spent years recording bedroom demos before breaking through. She studied fine art at Goldsmiths University, and her lyrics draw on literature, art history and classical mythology, while her sound nods to folk, singer-songwriter and chamber pop alongside euphoric pop moments.
Her debut album Cacophony (2024) was praised by Pitchfork, and The Independent called her 'one of the most insightful songwriters of this generation.' Her second album, The Fatal Flaw, released 4 September, is described as an epic exploration of love and becoming, shaped by themes of connection, identity, art, nature and feminism.
This concert, arranged by Smash!Bang!Pow!, is her largest Danish venue show to date. For every ticket sold, 10 DKK is donated to PlanUK, a charity supporting children and young people in the world's most vulnerable regions.
