Join DR Vokalensemblet's professional singers and conductor Carsten Seyer-Hansen for an afternoon of choral music centred on Mozart's Requiem. Participants of all ages and voice types are welcome โ the workshop is aimed at amateur choral singers, with a maximum of 100 participants per voice part.
The afternoon begins at 13:00 and runs until approximately 18:00, with a break for tea, coffee and cake during the day. Carsten Seyer-Hansen will guide the combined choir through warm-up exercises and singing technique, while also sharing the fascinating story behind the composition of this famous and unfinished masterpiece.
The workshop concludes with an informal mini-concert starting at 17:00, performed for family and friends, for whom separate tickets are available on the DR Koncerthuset website.
Sheet music: participants may purchase a copy of their choral part when booking, which will be posted to them in advance. Alternatively, singers may bring their own score or borrow one on arrival at the venue.
