Les Imprimés is the solo project of Norwegian musician and producer Morten Martsen, who brings over 20 years of behind-the-scenes production experience to his velvety, summer-warm neo-soul. Drawing on references spanning 1950s doo-wop, 1960s–70s soul, 1980s airy textures and 1990s–2000s alt-rock, his sound is a genre-crossing blend that appeals equally to indie and soul lovers.
His debut album Reverie (2023) established the Les Imprimés sound, and the follow-up Fadin Forward (2026) deepens the warm tone of the debut by weaving in heavier grooves and melodies inspired by hip-hop. The album hides melancholy and grief within bright, daydreaming productions, including the closing track 'Paradise', which draws on 1950s Hawaiian soul.
Audiences at Ideal Bar can expect an evening of contrasts — warm, enveloping neo-soul productions paired with introspective, emotionally layered lyrics.
