Du sperme

Du sperme centres on Ève and Chloé, two best friends in their forties with an elastic sense of morality and an unshakeable bond. When Ève hatches a plan to convince Chloé to steal sperm from her partner so Ève can have a child, the ethical foundations of Chloé's stable, conventional relationship are put to the test by her more volcanic, freedom-obsessed friend.

Written and performed by Elisabeth Sirois, the play takes a bold and irreverent feminist stance, interrogating norms around couplehood and parenthood expectations, and celebrating autonomy, transgression, and female friendship. The language is colourful and the humour unabashedly frank.

Sirois previously garnered attention with short scenes at Projet Pirate, and scored a success with her play Nomme-moé at Espace Go in spring 2026, where she shared the stage with Myriam Fournier. Du sperme marks the directorial debut of actor Marie-Hélène Thibault.

Performance schedule: Monday to Thursday at 19:00; Friday at 20:00; Saturday April 3 at 16:00.
