Designed in 2026 by the German Embassy in France, this documentary exhibition presents Germany from multiple angles: its 16 federal states (Länder), its status as the most populous country in the EU, its varied geography, rich cultural history, and strong tradition of fundamental freedoms.
The exhibition is on view from Monday 21 September to Friday 23 October 2026. Opening hours: Monday to Thursday 09:00–12:00 and 14:00–17:00; Friday 09:00–12:00 and 14:00–16:00; Saturday 17 October 10:00–12:00.
The vernissage takes place on Saturday 19 September at 11:30 as part of the Maison de Heidelberg Open Day.
