Agamemnon in the Ring: A Trojan War Against Three

Agamemnon in the Ring: A Trojan War Against Three is an original creation mixing the epic tone of Racine's tragedies and Homeric tales with the loud codes of modern wrestling galas and a hint of Quebec rock opera.

The story centers on Agamemnon Bouchard, king of Mycenae and renowned wrestler, on the verge of retirement and induction into the Hall of Fame. Two troublemakers from Troie…-Rivières take his championship belt, a gift from his brother Menelaus, pushing him toward a final fight while the federation commissioner Artemis threatens to ban his daughter Eugénie.

The show runs about 1h50 in the Salle Denise-Pelletier at Théâtre Denise-Pelletier, from April 21 to 30, 2027. Hilaire St-Laurent wrote and co-directs with Sofia Blondin, and Frédéric Lavallée plays Agamemnon.
