Fiserv Forum is Milwaukee's modern downtown arena, found at 1111 North Vel R. Phillips Avenue in the city's central district. It is the home court of the NBA's Milwaukee Bucks, and it has been part of the city's skyline since it opened in 2018.

What a visit feels like

Most people come for a game. On game nights the building fills with energy, and the crowd, the music and the rhythm of the match give the evening a lively, communal feel, even if you have never followed basketball before. The arena also hosts major concerts and family shows, so the programme can suit a range of tastes.

The building itself is worth noticing. Its design is sleek and contemporary, a clear contrast with the older brick and stone of much of downtown Milwaukee. Whether you are seated for an event or only passing by, the architecture gives you a sense of how the city has changed in recent years.

Around the arena

Just outside, the Deer District is a popular place to eat, drink and gather before or after an event. It makes a natural starting point for an evening, with restaurants and bars close at hand, and it is equally pleasant if you arrive early and want to settle in before the doors open.

Planning your visit

  • Check the event calendar before you travel, since the arena's schedule depends on games, concerts and shows.
  • Allow time to arrive, especially on game days, when the surrounding streets are busy.
  • Combine your trip with a stroll through downtown Milwaukee, which is close by.

For anyone who enjoys live events in a well-designed modern venue, Fiserv Forum offers a memorable night out in the heart of Milwaukee.
