The Magic Flute in Concert - Ensemble Caprice

Mozart's last opera, The Magic Flute, is brought to the concert stage in a version that strips away spoken dialogue to let the music speak on its own. The journey of Tamino and Pamina — weaving together courage, love, and harmony — unfolds through one of the composer's most radiant and expressive scores.

The performance is conducted by Matthias Maute and features Ensemble Caprice alongside six soloists: Suzanne Rigden as the Queen of the Night, Matthew Li as Sarastro, Anne-Sophie Neher as Pamina, Colin Ainsworth as Tamino, Olivier Bergeron as Papageno, and Catherine St-Arnaud as Papagena.

The concert runs approximately 2 hours and 30 minutes with an intermission. Tickets are priced from $39.95 to $125 (taxes and fees included), with student pricing also available. The event is produced and presented by Ensemble Caprice.
