Carmina Burana - Roderick Cox & Orchestre national Montpellier Occitanie

Carmina Burana, composed in 1937 by Carl Orff on medieval Latin and Middle High German poems, ranks among the most performed choral works in the world. This production is directed by stage director Anne Lopez, with lighting design by Mathieu Cabanes.

At the podium, conductor Roderick Cox leads the Orchestre and Chœur de l'Opéra Orchestre national Montpellier Occitanie. They are joined by the young voices of Opéra Junior and the Goyang Festival Choir from South Korea — bringing the total number of artists on stage to around two hundred.

The cast of soloists features soprano Clara Guillon, counter-tenor Paul-Antoine Benos-Djian, and baritone Théo Hoffmann. The performance runs approximately 1 hour 10 minutes without an interval.

Ticket prices: €66 / €56 / €50 / €40 / €25. Surtitles in French and English.
