On the occasion of the European Heritage Days, the Préfecture de l'Hérault opens its doors to the public free of charge, granting access to an emblematic building of French republican life housed in a 19th-century mansion.
Visitors can explore the ceremonial rooms, the courtyard of honour, and areas that are normally off-limits to the public, discovering both the administrative and architectural history of the site.
The visit is free and takes place from 10:00 to 18:00 on Saturday, 19 September 2026, in the heart of Montpellier.
