Two of the most iconic figures in Danish music history, Sebastian and Lis Sørensen, reunite for a series of concerts under the title 'Tiderne Skifter' (Times Are Changing) at DR Koncerthuset's Koncertsalen in 2027. It is their first time sharing a stage since the 1980s.
Their collaboration began in 1979 when Sebastian — already an established star with critically acclaimed albums — invited Lis Sørensen, then known from the pioneering band Shit & Chanel, to join him in the studio for his Bertolt Brecht interpretations on the album 'Tiderne Skifter'. She quickly became a core member of Sebastian Band, contributing her own songs including 'Stille før storm' from 'Stjerne til støv'.
Lis Sørensen has described the partnership as giving her access to a style of songwriting she had never experienced before — Sebastian's intricate compositional and arranging world, so different from the real-time songwriting of Shit & Chanel. Sebastian, in turn, has spoken of the immediate closeness and her ability to bring a majestic grandeur to any song.
The concert title pays tribute both to the origins of their collaboration and to the years that have passed since they last performed together.
