Mercury Rev return to the stage for a special tour celebrating the 25th anniversary of their acclaimed 2001 album All Is Dream, performing at DR Koncerthuset's Studie 2. The evening will also feature support from Mick Harvey & Amanda Acevedo.
Founded in Buffalo, New York in 1989, Mercury Rev have built a reputation for pushing the boundaries of rock music with a sound that spans psychedelic pop, atmospheric indie rock, and orchestral layers. Their landmark album Deserter's Songs (1998) is widely regarded as one of the most important records of the 1990s.
All Is Dream was hailed by Austin Chronicle as surpassing even Deserter's Songs upon its release. The band has received widespread acclaim from outlets including The Guardian, Rolling Stone, and the BBC, who have described their music as both "shimmering" and deeply captivating.
The concert promises an immersive evening of beautiful melodies, sweeping emotions, and the adventurous spirit that has defined Mercury Rev's career.
