Laura Misch and Sofie Birch share the stage at DR Koncerthuset's intimate Studie 2 for an evening that places deep listening and atmosphere at its heart. Using saxophone, voice, synthesizer and field recordings drawn from air, water and stone, the two artists invite the audience into a space of contemplation and presence.
Laura Misch is a saxophonist, singer, electronic producer and field recordist whose work moves between elemental themes, primal rhythms and layered clouds of sound, fusing acoustic and electronic sources into a single electroacoustic world.
Sofie Birch is a sound artist and performer whose practice — which she calls Ambient Abracadabra — spans radio, live performance and immersive environments. With over a decade's experience in music for theatre, film and installation, she creates sensory sound spaces in which listening itself becomes a room, shaped by atmosphere and attention.
Together, the two artists craft a concert experience in which sound is not merely heard but felt — one centred on nature, perception and connectedness.
