Kærligheden med Muff & Hammer

Katrine Muff and Mathias Hammer, two of Denmark's leading champions of the Danish song tradition and communal singing, launch a new concert format celebrating songs that generations of Danes have sung together — from Grundtvig to Medina, from the hymnal to pop hits.

They are joined by the critically acclaimed string ensemble Who Killed Bambi, who bring the music to life with sweeping harmonies and deeply felt arrangements.

Katrine Muff is a television and radio host with extensive experience in music communication. As a singer-songwriter, she has five songs in the Højskolesangbogen, including 'Fortabt er jeg stadig', co-written with Stine Pilgaard.

Mathias Hammer is a pianist and television and radio host at DR, known for programmes such as 'Anmelderne', 'Hammers komponister' and 'Den klassiske Musikquiz'. Together, they have hosted several seasons of the weekly radio programme 'Sangbogen med Muff og Hammer'.

Audiences can expect an evening of songs that have shaped Danish culture, songs that speak to the present moment, and discoveries they didn't know they needed — all delivered with the duo's infectious enthusiasm and love of music, with plenty of opportunities to sing along.
