Bo Kaspers Orkester brings their grand anniversary production 'Il Magnifico' to DR Koncerthuset, celebrating 35 years together with audiences across the Nordic countries. The show is both a concert and a retrospective of a life's work, bringing together cherished classics and new material.
From their earliest steps in a restaurant on Kungsholmen to sold-out venues throughout Scandinavia, Bo Kaspers Orkester has been a constant companion through everyday life and celebration alike. Through the decades the world has changed dramatically — digitalisation, pandemics, climate challenges and shifting values — yet the band's drive to keep creating has remained the engine of every new tour.
"We have shared a life journey with our audience. Together we have married, had children, divorced and found new loves. We have witnessed digitalisation from Napster to Spotify, and lived through catastrophes like the Estonia, the tsunami and the pandemic. Through it all the music has continued," says frontman Bo Sundström.
'Il Magnifico' is a multigenerational event: grandparents, parents and children sing the same choruses and share the same memories, making it a rare occasion where three generations meet around a shared soundtrack.
