Poul Halberg marks 50 years as a performing musician with the jubilee tour "HALBERG – HALVTREDS" (Halberg – Fifty), a celebration of the songs that have served as the soundtrack to generations of Danish music lovers. Over his career, Halberg has been a defining force in bands such as Halberg/Larsen and Ray Dee Ohh, and produced five albums for NEWS. His catalogue includes timeless hits like 'Magi i luften', 'Jeg vil la' lyset brænde', 'Efterår', 'Elskes af dig', 'Mandagsstævnemøde', 'Brændende læber' and 'Fri for at drømme om dig'.
Halberg takes the stage with his tight-knit band: Jette Schandorf on bass and backing vocals (a veteran of more than 40 years in Danish rock, known from News, Halberg Larsen, Lis Sørensen and Poul Halberg Powertrio); Heidi Degn on lead vocals (known from BeePop, whose debut album Halberg produced); Gorm Bülow on keyboards (previously collaborated with Sebastian, Søs Fenger and Danseorkestret); and Jesper Thomsen on drums (known from the X-Factor band, with collaborations including Peter Belli and Rasmus).
