Danmarks Underholdningsorkester (the Danish Entertainment Orchestra) takes to the Koncertsalen stage to celebrate the musical legacy of Kim Larsen, one of Denmark's most beloved songwriters and composers, accompanied by four distinguished guest soloists: Jesper Binzer (D-A-D), Sofie Dopha, Mathias Ranch and Caroline Henderson.
The programme spans the full breadth of Larsen's remarkable career — from the iconic debut album 'Værsgo' (1973) through the landmark 1980s records 'Midt Om Natten' and 'Forklædt Som Voksen', and on through nearly 25 years of critically acclaimed work recorded alongside his band Kjukken.
"I'm looking forward to interpreting Kim Larsen's songs together with Danmarks Underholdningsorkester," said Caroline Henderson. "He was one of Denmark's greatest songwriters and personalities, leaving a deep and lasting mark on our shared musical heritage."
The evening will feature communal sing-alongs and an emotional celebration of a catalogue that continues to unite generations of Danes.
