Marché Atwater participates in Québec's Open Farm Day, an annual free family event organized by the Union des producteurs agricoles (UPA). Visitors are transported by a Desjardins shuttle bus from the market to Miel Nature, a local honey farm, for a guided tour and product tasting.
Two tour options are available. The morning tour departs at 09:00, arrives at the farm around 10:00 for a 90-minute guided visit, and returns to the market by 12:15. The afternoon tour departs at 13:00, arrives at 14:00 for the guided visit, and returns by 16:15.
The shuttle departs from the parking lot behind the Pharmaprix, at the corner of Notre-Dame and Lévis streets. Space is limited to 32 participants per tour, and free reservation is required — this event is currently listed as FULL.
Activities at Miel Nature include a visit to an active beehive, an introduction to beekeeping, and sampling products from the farm's boutique.
