Booty Therapy is a high-energy 90-minute dance session built around twerk and movements rooted in Afro-descendant dance traditions. Participants are invited to let go, connect with their bodies, and tap into collective energy in a joyful, sororal atmosphere — no prior dance experience required, and all bodies and levels are welcome.
The session takes place in a FINTA space (open to women and intersex, non-binary, trans, agender and gender-expansive people), with the goal of creating a safe and supportive environment. Movements are adapted as needed.
In Montpellier, the class is led by Esther, a certified Booty Therapy instructor since 2019. She also facilitates dance-therapy workshops and works as a Somatic Experiencing therapist, specialising in trauma resolution.
