The second concert in the six-part Beethoven cycle presents String Quartets Nos. 3, 11 and 8, performed by Quatuor Ébène in the Queen's Hall at The Black Diamond. Together with the opening-night concert, this afternoon matinée completes the first weekend of the series.
Quatuor Ébène was formed in 1999 in Boulogne-Billancourt and has built an international reputation performing at halls such as Wigmore Hall, Carnegie Hall, Philharmonie de Paris and Alte Oper Frankfurt. Their Beethoven quartet cycle is a flagship project for the ensemble.
The concert lasts approximately two hours. Tickets are available online through the Royal Danish Library box office.
