Veteran Danish troubadour Allan Olsen takes the Koncertsalen stage with what he describes as potentially his last band tour — hence the name Det Sidste Slæng (The Last Gang). The setlist draws on beloved Olsen classics, newer songs, and deep cuts from his extensive catalogue.
The band is made up of accomplished musicians: Jesper Haugaard (bass/double bass), Mads Andersen (drums), Rune Kjeldsen (guitar), Anders Pedersen (guitar, lap steel, mandolin), and Dan Hemmer (organ and keyboards). Together they bring a full, weighty musical presence to the material.
Olsen's broad, varied songbook draws a diverse audience — from youthful enthusiasts to seasoned listeners — and he considers this mix of people one of the greatest privileges of his career in the music industry.
