A Jazzy Christmas brings DR Big Band back to Studie 2 at DR Koncerthuset for two festive performances brimming with soul, swing, and jazz-inflected Christmas classics. The concerts have earned near-classic status at DR Koncerthuset and on stages across Denmark.
Headlining as soloists are crooner Mads Mathias, known for his warm and smooth vocal style, and jazz vocalist Emma Smith, whose seductive jazz voice brings elegance and charm to the programme. Together they deliver a mix of American and Nordic evergreen Christmas songs with swing and intimacy, backed by the full DR Big Band.
Two performances are scheduled: an evening show on Saturday 12 December at 20:00, and a matinée on Sunday 13 December at 15:00.
