Designed by visual artist Fabien Verschaere in collaboration with the Centre Pompidou, the exhibition-workshop 1+1=11 transforms museum spaces into an immersive universe tailored specifically to young visitors.
Children are invited on a fun, interactive journey through a world inhabited by hybrid and fantastical creatures. Each visitor progresses at their own pace, takes on challenges, and constructs their own path through the works on display.
Far more than a traditional exhibition, 1+1=11 offers a sensory and creative experience in which forms, colours and characters spark imagination, curiosity and personal expression — an invitation to encounter contemporary art at a child's eye level, in a spirit of freedom, play and shared discovery.
