Finnish symphonic metal icon Tarja Turunen returns to Copenhagen's Amager Bio on 16 February 2027, her first performance in the city since a memorable 2011 show. The concert is part of a short European run that also takes in Bratislava, Slovakia.
The setlist will draw from her latest album Frisson Noir โ described as her heaviest and most personal work to date โ alongside fan favourites from across her solo catalogue.
Tarja is widely regarded as one of the most respected voices in symphonic metal, possessing an exceptional three-octave range. She co-founded Nightwish and helped shape the genre before launching a highly successful solo career.
As a solo artist she became the first Finnish solo act to earn a gold record in Germany, and remains the only Finnish artist to receive German gold both as a band member and as a solo performer. Her debut album My Winter Storm achieved platinum status in Finland and gold in Germany, Hungary and the Czech Republic.
