Sunset Images is an experimental project from Mexico City centred around musician Samuel Osorio, who handles composition and overall artistic direction. The group operates at the intersection of shoegaze, krautrock, and noise rock, weaving layers of feedback, fuzz, and repetitive rhythms into a massive, sensory soundscape.
The project has built a reputation for intense live performances, having shared stages with international names on the experimental rock circuit. Their previous releases have addressed themes of violence, racism, and misogyny, as well as more personal subjects such as loneliness, anger, and powerlessness, giving the music a distinct political and emotional weight.
