Stephen Wilson Jr. is an American singer-songwriter from southern Indiana whose personal history โ spanning boxing, science and indie rock โ feeds into a distinctive sound where country, Americana, folk and rock converge with raw honesty and poetic lyricism.
Before launching his solo career, Wilson Jr. wrote songs for established artists including Caitlyn Smith, Old Dominion, Tim McGraw, Sixpence None the Richer and Leigh Nash.
His breakthrough came in 2023 with his debut double album Son of Dad, a 22-track emotional tribute to his late father released on the fifth anniversary of his passing. The album was named best album of 2023 by Holler, described as "a record for the ages", and was highlighted among the year's best by Whiskey Riff, Wide Open Country and Rolling Stone.
On 3 November, Wilson Jr. brings his heartfelt storytelling and rock-edged energy to Store VEGA in Copenhagen.
