Spillestedet Stengade closes out its September run on the 19th with Australian act Sex Mask, a Melbourne-based post-punk and alt-rock band delivering a blend of dance-punk energy. They are supported by UK act Humane and local outfit Green Tea Bitches.
Sex Mask is composed of Vinnie Moncada (producer), Wry Gray (writer/vocalist) and Kaya Martin (guitarist). The band describes its sound as somewhere between a Taoist riddle and a lone gunman's manifesto โ vague pop with raw, instinct-driven energy.
The night promises a crossover of dance-punk, post-punk and alt-rock influences for fans of guitar-driven, high-energy live music.
