Australian pop phenomenon Ruel returns to Copenhagen on 20 October 2026 for a show at Amager Bio, his first visit to the venue since a 2023 performance that earned a 4.5-out-of-5-star review from Bands of Tomorrow. This time he arrives with his new album 'Kicking My Feet & Screaming', released 12 June 2026, which continues the musical story begun with 'Kicking My Feet' in 2025.
Born Ruel Vincent van Dijk in Sydney, Ruel first broke through at just 14 years old and won the Breakthrough Artist award at the 2018 ARIA Music Awards for his single 'Dazed & Confused'. He has since accumulated over 3 billion streams, completed sold-out world tours and released hits including 'Younger', 'Painkiller' and 'Hard Sometimes'.
Known for collaborations with artists spanning multiple genres โ among them Grent Perez, Holly Humberstone, JVKE, SG Lewis, Denzel Curry and GoldLink โ Ruel has built a substantial international fanbase. The Copenhagen show promises to blend new material with fan favourites in what is set to be one of his most ambitious live presentations yet.
