The band's seventh studio album, Prisoner, arrives in summer 2026 via Mighty Music โ the same label that first released their music back in 2001. It marks a full-circle reunion with the label that launched their career, after stints with Nuclear Blast, Lifeforce, and Massacre Records.
Raunchy have always occupied a distinctive space in heavy music: too melodic for death metal purists, too heavy for mainstream radio, and too synth-driven and riff-forward to fit neatly into any single genre. Prisoner leans directly into that contradiction rather than resolving it.
Drummer Morten "Molle" Toft Hansen has spoken about the reunion as driven by the music itself rather than commercial ambition โ the band made the record they wanted to make and are ready to hit the road again.
