London-based collective NYX takes the stage at ALICE on 11 September 2026, presented in collaboration with Final Descent. Inspired by Nyx, the primordial Greek goddess of the night, the collective creates music that moves between chaos and beauty, primordial force and futurism.
Working at the crossroads of choral music, electronic music, and performance, NYX constructs intense sonic landscapes where the voice becomes an instrument for emotion, community, and transformation. Their practice spans immersive audiovisual rituals, installations, performative works, and compositions for film, television, and video games โ including contributions to the Diablo IV soundtrack.
Led by composer and musical director Sian O'Gorman, NYX has performed at Rewire Festival, Centre Pompidou, London Design Festival, ICA, and Queen Elizabeth Hall. Their critically acclaimed album Deep England, created with Gazelle Twin, was named one of the year's best albums by The Guardian. Expect dark electronic textures and hypnotic vocal layers in an experience that is simultaneously meditative, raw, and deeply physical.
