Tied to CAUE de l'Hรฉrault's exhibition on land use and urban transformation, this playful workshop invites participants to step into the role of real estate agents from the year 2051. In an imaginary Hรฉrault reshaped by climate change and past development decisions, they encounter extraordinary and sometimes absurd buildings.
Participants observe fictional situations rooted in the local territory, then craft their own 'future real estate listings' โ complete with repurposed buildings, altered uses, and improbable solutions. The exercise blends humour with critical reflection.
Objectives include raising awareness about land-use moderation, building understanding of the specific challenges facing the Hรฉrault region, and encouraging imaginative and critical thinking about how we inhabit our environment today and in the future.
The workshop runs from 14:00 to 16:00 on Saturday 19 September 2026 as part of the Journรฉes europรฉennes du patrimoine.
