New Talent Fashion Show - MUMAQ

MUMAQ—the Musée des métiers d'art du Québec—and the École de joaillerie de Montréal are joining forces to present the first-ever fashion show featuring body adornments, wearable sculptures, and innovative jewelry created by emerging artists, alongside select pieces from the École de joaillerie de Montréal's private collection. The event is presented in the context of the ongoing exhibition Art to Wear: A History of Freedom of Expression.

Confirmed participating artists include Marine Bordy, Emmie Caille, Biaggio Carnevale, Pauline Garcia, Milane Otani-Frigon, Joanie Guillemet, Marie-Annick Pelletier, Elisabeth Pope, Inès Rigaux, and Harry Warshaw.

The show takes place in the remarkable setting of the former St. Paul Presbyterian Church, relocated in 1931 to become the Chapel of Collège Saint-Laurent and now home to MUMAQ. The museum is a short walk from the Du Collège metro station.

Tickets are priced at $20 (taxes included) and can be purchased through the MUMAQ boutique online.
