Les Ailes is a site-specific theatrical creation following the lives of seven women who share the same street โ moving between their homes, doorways, balconies, and the pavement as they each reflect on their own story.
A common thread unites them: the mysterious voluntary disappearance of Marlรจne, a neighbour, which sets each woman on a path of personal realisation. The piece explores the bonds between neighbours, their sense of intimacy, and their conflicting desires to leave or to put down roots.
The production was created in collaboration with residents of Soubeyran Street, lending it an authentic, community-rooted character. It is presented as part of the European Heritage Days 2026 at the Mairie de Jacou.
