HYD is the critically acclaimed pop project of American artist Hayden Dunham, in which music, visual art and live performance merge into a single unified expression. Her 2022 debut album 'Clearing' quickly drew attention for its uncompromising mix of compelling pop, experimental sound and striking visual worlds.
Before HYD, Dunham was known for boundary-pushing art projects including QT and the viral 'Hey QT' energy drink collaboration, as well as major public art installations around the world. W Magazine called her 'the art world's new ingรฉnue', while The New York Times described her work as 'art you can breathe and drink'.
HYD's music explores shifting states โ destruction, regeneration, growth and emergence. Her second album 'HOLD ONTO ME INFINITY' expands this world with more glittering songwriting and a constant sense of movement. Live, she has performed in unusual spaces including rooftops, caves, museums and festivals, sharing stages with Charli XCX, SOPHIE, A. G. Cook, Caroline Polachek and Sega Bodega.
