Guided Tour of La Costumotek and Its Stock of Over 15,000 Costumes

La Costumotek is a one-of-a-kind costume house โ€” the only one of its scale in the southern half of France โ€” housing a stock of more than 15,000 costumes and accessories across 300 square metres of space.

The guided tour takes visitors through the labyrinthine space, decoding the collection and explaining the organisation's daily activity, its community outreach, and its various cultural programmes.

Visitors will also have the chance to admire personal creations by the venue's professional costumers and volunteer seamstresses.

The visit opens a wider conversation about how to preserve and keep alive costume as a form of cultural heritage that is increasingly under threat. The event is open to families, groups, and solo visitors alike.
