Genevieve Stokes brings her piano-driven indie pop to Studie 3 at DR Koncerthuset for her first-ever concert in Denmark, part of an international tour announced in 2026.
The American singer-songwriter began playing piano and writing songs at the age of eight, developing a sophisticated style that draws comparisons to Fiona Apple, Regina Spektor, Phoebe Bridgers and Lucy Dacus โ combining emotional depth with intimate confessional songwriting.
She signed with the legendary Atlantic Records in 2020, releasing the EPs "Swimming Lessons" (2021) and "Catching Rabbits" (2023), followed by her acclaimed debut album "With a Lightning Strike" in 2024, produced with Tony Berg (known for his work with Taylor Swift and Phoebe Bridgers).
In 2026 she has released the singles "Medicine" and "Poltergeist", with further new music expected. She has previously headlined her own tours and supported Role Model on the road.
