Beverly Glenn-Copeland makes his Danish concert debut at Bellevue Teatret on 7 September 2026, presented jointly by ALICE and Bellevue Teatret. This marks the first time the legendary Canadian musician and trans activist has ever performed in Denmark.
Over a career spanning more than five decades, Glenn-Copeland has forged a singular sound world where folk, electronic music and spiritual traditions converge in deeply human storytelling about community, care and hope. His cult album "Keyboard Fantasies" (1986), created with some of the earliest drum machines and synthesizers, found its deserved audience decades after release and has since achieved iconic status in ambient and experimental music circles worldwide.
In 2026 Glenn-Copeland released "Laughter in Summer" (Transgressive Records), a luminous meditation on love, friendship, ageing and transcendence made in collaboration with his life partner Elisabeth Glenn-Copeland. The album has been hailed as one of the most moving works of his career.
Concerts by Beverly Glenn-Copeland are intimate and spiritual experiences in which past and present meet, inviting audiences into a shared space of reflection, healing and celebration. He performs as a duo at this Copenhagen show.
Tickets are purchased through Bellevue Teatret's website. The event is co-presented with ALICE.
