Beverly Glenn-Copeland: Folk/Electronic Concert

ALICE and Bellevue Theatre co-present Beverly Glenn-Copeland for his very first concert in Denmark โ€” a milestone moment for the legendary Canadian musician, composer, and trans activist with more than five decades of groundbreaking work behind him. His singular sonic universe weaves together folk, meditative electronics, and spiritual reflection into compositions of otherworldly beauty.

Glenn-Copeland's cult 1986 album Keyboard Fantasies โ€” created with early drum machines and synthesizers and inspired by nature and science fiction โ€” only found its wide audience decades after its release and is now considered an icon of ambient and experimental music worldwide. His latest album, Laughter in Summer (Transgressive Records, 2026), is a luminous meditation on love, companionship, aging, and transcendence, created in collaboration with his life partner Elisabeth Glenn-Copeland.

Born in Philadelphia and based in Canada, Glenn-Copeland has long been an advocate for trans visibility and intergenerational dialogue. His live performances are described as intimate and spiritual experiences that invite audiences into a shared space for reflection and healing. He performs this evening as a duo.
