Arena Sofia is an indoor venue in the Bulgarian capital, located at 1 Asen Yordanov Boulevard in Sofia. It is one of the country's leading halls for live events, staging concerts, sports matches and other large entertainment programmes.
What to expect
The venue is best suited to visitors who want to see a live performance or a sporting contest rather than to explore a building for its own sake. Its modern, flexible layout is set up to accommodate both fans and performers, which gives the atmosphere on a busy night a lively, energetic character.
- Concerts and large entertainment events
- Sports matches
- Evenings out for those interested in nightlife and local culture
Planning your visit
Because the programme changes with each event, check what is on before you travel, and plan your timing around the performance or match you intend to see. Arena Sofia sits in the capital, so it is easy to combine a visit here with time spent elsewhere in Sofia, and an event evening can be a good way to experience how the city spends its nights.
