Michel Rivard presents 'Après on va où?', a solo musical theatre work in which a 74-year-old man — described as 'the man who resembles me' — reflects on his life, on what lies before and after death, and on the tension between his doubts and his certainties. The piece unfolds over the symbolic two-week lifespan of a magnolia blossom outside his bedroom window.
Through a series of intimate scenes — a medical appointment, browsing an urn catalogue, recalling a first love, or walking in the forest with his seven-year-old grandson — the character monologues, poetises, and sings his way toward something greater than himself.
The show takes place in the Grande Salle of Salle Pauline-Julien on Sunday, 15 November 2026, at 16:00.
