Reflets du temps is a musical mosaic spanning the Classical, Romantic and Contemporary periods, performed by Quatuor Cobalt. The programme is guided by a historically informed approach, using instruments, bows and strings authentic to each respective era — giving every work its own distinct sonority, atmosphere, textures and colours.
At the heart of the evening are three composers who each left a distinctive mark on their time: Maddalena Laura Lombardini Sirmen, Fanny Hensel Mendelssohn and Alicia Terzian. The result is an immersive journey through musical history that highlights the singular voices of women composers across the centuries.
The performance takes place on the Grande Salle stage of Salle Pauline-Julien at 20:00.
