Mousquetaire is an original creation by Le Puy du Fou, co-produced with RIVAJ Production. The show made its world premiere at La Seine Musicale in November 2027 before embarking on a nationwide French tour from January 2028. The Montpellier dates — 15 and 16 April 2028 — take place at the Parvis de la Sud de France Arena.
True to Le Puy du Fou's signature blend of spectacle and technical precision, the production combines heroic adventures, stage combat, dance and equestrian sequences within a swashbuckling cape-and-sword romance. The story follows Bouton d'Or, a young orphan and horse trainer at Le Puy du Fou whose life is turned upside down in the early seventeenth century when assassins attempt to abduct him, drawing him into a state affair that sends him galloping across France in search of answers.
Along the way, Bouton d'Or encounters iconic figures of the era: the beautiful Sérafina, the Captain Fracasse, the Three Musketeers and Cyrano de Bergerac, all woven into an immersive two-act narrative. The cast numbers around fifty performers — actors, dancers, stunt performers and equestrians.
The show is set to a powerful original score composed by Nathan Stornetta. Audiences can expect a visually spectacular experience that balances emotion, technical feats and grand-scale storytelling.
