Medea Luz follows Katalina, a woman who dreams of performing tragedy. She decides to rewrite the myth of Medea, drawing on her own mother, a Chilean woman who left a country devastated by dictatorship and brutality. Her mother's wounds resurface as she raises her daughter, and Katalina asks whether anyone can escape a tragic destiny written before birth.
