International Folk Dance Initiation

Every Monday evening from June 1 to August 31, 2026, the Association montréalaise des arts et des traditions populaires hosts a free outdoor folk dance initiation session at the Pavillon du Lac-aux-Castors in Mount Royal Park.

The sessions are open to everyone, regardless of age or experience, and take place from 19:00 to 21:00. Participants are invited to discover and dance to music from a wide range of world regions, including the Balkans, Western Europe, Central Europe, the Middle East, South America, and North America.

This recurring event is part of the broader "150 years of Mount Royal Park" anniversary celebrations taking place throughout the summer of 2026.
